Exam Proctor System Requirements

Your computer should meet the minimum system requirements before you install and use SUMADI Live Portal. As an Exam Proctor, this may vary depending on the expected amount of Test Takers and ratio which will be monitored at once.

Windows

To use the SUMADI Live Portal on Windows, you’ll need:

Operating system

Windows 11, Windows 10 (excluding Windows 10 LTSC)

Browser

Google Chrome (v115 or higher)
Microsoft Edge (v116 or higher)
Brave Browser (Version 1.64.116 Chromium: 123.0.6312.105)

Computer processor

Requires minimum 2.1 GHz two-core processor. For higher video/screen share resolution and frame rate, a four-core processor or better is recommended.

Memory

6.0 GB RAM

Hard Disk

10.0 GB of available disk space

Display

1152 × 870 or higher resolution

Graphics hardware

Windows OS: Graphics hardware acceleration requires DirectX 9 or later, with WDDM 2.0 or higher for Windows 10 (or WDDM 1.3 or higher for Windows 10 Fall Creators Update)

Video

USB 2.0 video camera

Devices

Standard laptop or desktop camera, microphone, and speakers

Internet speed

7 Mbps minimum

10 Mbps recommended

*Based on a 6:1 ratio. For every additional participants, add 2 Mbps as a basic rule of thumb.

Mac

To use the SUMADI Live Portal on Mac, you’ll need:

macOS Monterrey, macOS Ventura, macOS Sonoma

Browser

Google Chrome (v115 or higher)
Microsoft Edge (v116 or higher)
Brave Browser (Version 1.64.116 Chromium: 123.0.6312.105)

Computer processor

Intel Core Duo Processor
Apple M1, M2, & M3 family of processors
Requires minimum 2.1 GHz two-core processor.
For higher video/screen share resolution and frame rate, a four-core processor or better is recommended.

6.0 GB RAM

10.0 GB of available disk space

Display

1280 x 800 or higher resolution

Compatible webcam

Voice

Compatible microphone and speakers, headset with microphone, or equivalent device.
